How Recurring Bills Work

Recurring bills are useful for retainer clients, subscription services, or any arrangement where you invoice the same client for the same amount on a regular schedule.

When you create a recurring bill, you set the amount, frequency (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, annually), and an anchor day. The anchor day is the reference point for calculating due dates — for monthly billing with an anchor of 1, bills are due on the 1st of each month.

JustPayMe generates the next bill in the series automatically once the current one is marked paid or becomes overdue by a configurable number of days. You can attach a reminder policy to a recurring bill template so all generated bills are automatically chased according to the same schedule.
