If you're VAT-registered, set the **VAT treatment** on each quote before you send it:
- **Prices include VAT** — the line-item prices already contain VAT. - **Prices exclude VAT** — VAT is added on top of the prices.
This is always your explicit choice. JustPayMe never guesses VAT treatment for you. If you leave it unset, an accepted quote is treated as VAT-inclusive.
If you use an accounting integration (such as Xero), the accepted quote is pushed there as an invoice and your accounting system owns the invoice number. Without an integration, JustPayMe assigns a simple sequential number to keep things organised.
