A quote is a priced proposal you send to a client before the work is agreed. When the client accepts it, the quote becomes an invoice in your account automatically.
**Build it** at **Quotes → New quote**: pick the client, add line items (each with a description and price), set the payment-due date, and add an optional description. The total adds up as you go.
**Your item library** appears below the form, built from line items you've used before. Tap any item to drop it straight into the quote, so repeat work is one tap instead of retyping.
**Create by voice or message** — you can also create a quote directly from WhatsApp or Telegram. Just message your JustPayMe assistant: "Create a quote for Mary for boiler replacement £800, labour £200" and the system will build the draft for you. Speak naturally — you can list all items at once or add them step by step. The assistant will confirm the total and create a draft you can open, review, and send from the dashboard.
**Send it** with the Send button and choose WhatsApp, SMS, or email. The client gets a message with a link to view and accept the quote. Sending requires a verified email address.
**Acceptance** — when the client opens the link they see the full quote and an Accept button. The moment they accept, the quote converts to an invoice and you get a notification. Quotes expire 14 days after they're sent.
