Mark a bill as paid via WhatsApp

When a client pays outside of JustPayMe (bank transfer, cash, another invoice tool), you can mark the bill paid from WhatsApp or Telegram. Just message something like "John paid", "Received the money from Sarah", or "Mark Mike's invoice paid".

JustPayMe will:

1. Find the client's overdue invoice. If they have more than one, you'll be asked to pick — reply with the amount ("£400") to pick a specific one, or say "all" to mark every overdue invoice for that client paid in one go. You can also include the amount in your original message ("John paid the £400") to skip the question. 2. Show you the bill (or bills) it's about to mark paid and ask you to confirm with "yes" or cancel with "no".

On confirm, the bills are marked paid, any pending reminders are cancelled, and the system handles the rest. If you've connected an accounting integration like Xero, the paid status is synced there too.

For partial payments, mark the bill paid through the dashboard instead — the conversational flow handles full payments only for now.
