Help/Calendar/Working Hours and the availability check

Working Hours and the availability check

Working Hours sits at **Settings → Calendar** as a collapsed accordion (it's optional, so it stays out of the way until you need it). Open it to set your weekly availability and turn the master check on or off.

**Master toggle**, the switch at the top of the panel. When ON, every job booking goes through two checks:

1. Is the requested time inside the configured working hours for that weekday? 2. Does it clash with another job *or* an event your connected calendar has synced in?

If either check fails the booking is rejected with the reason. When OFF, both checks are skipped, useful for businesses with irregular hours where the check would just get in the way.

**Per-day rows**, one row per weekday. Toggle the day on or off, and pick *From* and *To* times. A day toggled off shows **Closed** and rejects every booking on that day even if the time would otherwise fit.

**Defaults**, Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00, Saturday and Sunday closed. Times are interpreted in your local timezone (Europe/London while we're UK-only).

**Boundaries are inclusive at the close**, a booking ending exactly at your close time (e.g. 16:00–17:00 with hours 09:00–17:00) is allowed. Bookings that span midnight are rejected.

**Where the rejection comes from**, when the API rejects a booking outside hours it returns a 409 with `error: outside_working_hours`. The dashboard and WhatsApp/Telegram booking flows show that as a friendly message asking you to pick a different time, or use *force* to override (sole traders sometimes legitimately want to bypass).
