You can edit a bill's amount, due date, reference, and description at any time. If the bill has a reminder policy applied, JustPayMe will automatically recalculate any pending chase dates to reflect the new due date. This is called policy resolution.
To edit a bill, open it from the bills list and tap the edit icon. Make your changes and save. Chases that have already been sent are not affected — only pending future chases are recalculated.
To delete a bill, it must have no sent chases. If chases have been sent, you should mark the bill as paid instead of deleting it, to preserve the audit trail.
Bill Status
Bills move through several statuses: Draft (not yet sent to client), Active (sent, awaiting payment), Overdue (past due date, unpaid), and Paid. Only overdue bills trigger chase reminders.
Policy Resolution
When a bill's due date or amount changes, JustPayMe recalculates any pending policy-driven chases to match the new dates. This happens automatically — you don't need to manually update each chase.
